NCUK is pleased to announce a new partnership with Falmouth University, further expanding its global network. Students who complete their studies with NCUK will now have the opportunity to progress to Falmouth University.

Through this partnership, students who complete the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) at University Foundation College (UFC), the only NCUK Study Centre in Qatar, will have guaranteed progression to Falmouth University, subject to meeting entry requirements.

Founded in 1902 as the Falmouth School of Art, Falmouth University has spent over 120 years supporting the creative industries, becoming one of the UK’s most distinctive and respected institutions.

Falmouth University operates across two campuses in Cornwall, offering one of the UK’s safest and most scenic study environments. The Falmouth Campus is located just ten minutes from the beach and town centre, while the Penryn Campus features modern facilities, including a Sports Centre and Glasney Student Village. Ranked among the top 5 in England and Wales for student safety (Complete University Guide 2025), the University provides a secure and high quality campus experience.

The University offers courses across fine art, graphic design, illustration, photography, fashion, filmmaking, animation, and game development, alongside programmes in business, tourism management, and computer sciences.

Falmouth University is ranked among the world’s top 150 for Art & Design (QS 2026) and 13th globally for Game Design (Princeton Review 2025). By choosing to study here, students will join a creative community with access to industry standard facilities developed through continuous professional input and investment.

Students who progress to Falmouth University will also become part of a Students’ Union shared with University of Exeter, one of the largest student communities in the South West, with access to more than 120 clubs and societies.

Falmouth University offers career support through its Employability Service, including CV guidance, specialist events, and access to tools and resources from the start of studies through to graduation and beyond. Students can take part in paid Micro Internships lasting 2 to 6 weeks, as well as optional Professional Placement Years, helping them graduate with valuable real world experience alongside their degree.
