The NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) allows you to study the first year of a four-year undergraduate degree with us in Qatar, and progress directly into the final three years of your degree at partnering universities in the UK, Qatar, and worldwide. Recognised as equivalent to 3 A Levels and approved by the UK Government, the NCUK IFY offers you a choice of pathways in Business, Humanities, Engineering, Science/Medicine, and Art & Design; each stream contains a different combination of three subject modules to fit the requirements of your chosen degree.
The NCUK International Year One (IYOne) allows you to study the first year of a three year undergraduate degree with us in Qatar, and progress directly into the final two years of your degree at partnering universities. The International Year One has subject routes to choose from, with progression options to 300+ degree courses across 26 top-ranking universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and as well as universities in Qatar.
Students can also join NCUK International Year One (IYOne) after completing International Foundation Year (IFY) or A-Levels or IB, AP or any equivalent qualification.
The NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is an Ofqual regulated qualification. It is a one-year pre-university qualification developed by UK academics to help you progress successfully to undergraduate study.
The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC) is an Ofqual-regulated qualification, equivalent to the first year of a three year Computing or IT degree within the UK university system.
Students develop essential thinking and study skills, not only within the computing domain, but also within the context of business through a balance of academic and vocational subjects.
Upon successful completion of the Level 4 Diploma in Computing, students can progress directly to the second year of a three year UK Bachelor’s degree at a university or pursue a career in the IT industry.
After completing grade 12, students can join us for the International Foundation Year (one year) at University Foundation College (UFC), then they can progress to the second year of a four year bachelor’s degree at NCUK partner universities worldwide and selected universities in Qatar.
*UK bachelor’s degrees after completing the International Foundation Year are three years long, whereas American bachelor’s degrees are normally four years long.
