NCUK IFY Students -University Foundation College (UFC)

NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)

The NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) allows you to study the first year of a four-year undergraduate degree with us in Qatar, and progress directly into the final three years of your degree at partnering universities in the UK, Qatar, and worldwide. Recognised as equivalent to 3 A Levels and approved by the UK Government, the NCUK IFY offers you a choice of pathways in Business, Humanities, Engineering, Science/Medicine, and Art & Design; each stream contains a different combination of three subject modules to fit the requirements of your chosen degree.

NCC International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies

The NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is an Ofqual regulated qualification. It is a one-year pre-university qualification developed by UK academics to help you progress successfully to undergraduate study.

NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)

After completing grade 12, students can join us for the NCUK International Foundation Year (one year) at University Foundation College (UFC), then they can progress to the second year of a four year bachelor’s degree at NCUK partner universities worldwide and selected universities in Qatar.

Students can also join the NCC International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies at UFC. This programme follows the same timeline as the NCUK International Foundation Year and can lead to entry into the second year of a four year bachelor’s degree at selected universities worldwide.

Students can choose a pathway within the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) at University Foundation College (UFC) based on their degree progression plans and long term academic and career aspirations, with each pathway including three academic subjects alongside English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
