University Foundation College Students Win NCUK Academic Prize Awards for the Second Consecutive Year (2023-24)

University Foundation College which delivers NCUK university pathway programmes for students aspiring to progress to leading universities worldwide, is delighted to celebrate the success of its students who have been awarded prestigious NCUK Prize Awards. Students have achieved Academic Prize Awards based on their outstanding results following completion of their NCUK programmes.

Academic Prize Award winners have been honoured as some of the top-performing NCUK students in the world. Students who have achieved these Prize Awards include:

  • Nawarah Mohamed Abbas Radwan Hussein Winner of the Regional High Achiever Award, making them the 1st in the region for academic performance on the NCUK International Foundation Year in the Middle East. She is now pursuing LLB (Hons) Law at the University of Bristol, continuing her journey of excellence.

Winners of the Recognised Achiever Award, making them some of the top NCUK International Foundation Year students in the Middle East.

  1. Issa Uzayr Malik – Progressed to the University of Bradford to study MOptometry
  2. Romail Ahmed Shabbir – Progressed to the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) to study Medicine
  3. Muhammad Mustafa Adil – Progressed to Swinburne University of Technology Malaysia to study BSc. Computer Science
  4. Abdul Rasheed Syed – Progressed to VCUarts Qatar to study MFA Graphic Design
  5. Mahmoud Ahmed Mohammed Samir Mustafa – Progressed to AFG College – University of Aberdeen Qatar to study BSc. Computing Science
  6. Hamzah Alhamdani – Progressed to Swansea University to study LLB
  7. Noora Abdulrahman J. M. Al-Thani – Progressed to AFG College – University of Aberdeen Qatar to study MA Politics and International Relations

     

More than 4,300 students worldwide across five continents completed an NCUK pathway programme in the 2023/24 academic year, making the accomplishments of students from University Foundation College even greater.

Watching UFC students shine and receive well-deserved recognition for their hard work and brilliance fills all of the staff here with immense pride and joy. The student’s commitment to excellence, perseverance, and passion for learning has truly paid off. These awards are not just a reflection of their intelligence, but of their hard work and determination. I also want to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the staff who have supported and guided them every step of the way. It is a true team effort, and seeing our students excel is a testament to the collective commitment to excellence from both the students and staff.

We are delighted to celebrate the success of NCUK students through our annual Prize Awards scheme. These awards highlight the remarkable dedication and hard work of our students, as well as the transformative power of education in shaping future leaders. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners along with NCUK Study Centres for their outstanding support and commitment to fostering excellence.
