The University of Westminster offers a range of self-catering halls of residence across London, along with additional options to help you find accommodation that meets your needs. Prices for university-managed halls range from approximately £198 to £295 per week, depending on room type and location.

The Student Accommodation Team is available to support you with a wide range of housing matters. In addition to managing university halls, they can help you search for alternative housing options and provide expert advice on tenancy agreements, landlord issues, and other accommodation-related concerns.

The University of Westminster is spread across three central London campuses and one in the leafy borough of Harrow in North West London.

Students benefit from outstanding facilities, including 24-hour libraries, modern science laboratories, advanced IT services, extensive online learning resources, and specialist spaces for art, design, film, and TV. The university also features world-class audio recording studios, galleries, sports and recreational facilities, and one of the few Bloomberg Financial Markets Suites in the UK.

For students in architecture, art, and design, there are dedicated workshops for wood, metal, moulding, casting, photography, and ceramics. Additionally, the university offers a state-of-the-art digital Fabrication Laboratory equipped with 3D printers and laser cutters.

The Students’ Union at the University of Westminster offers a wide variety of societies, covering everything from football, rugby, and hockey to yoga and musical theatre. With over 100 sports clubs and societies, and more than 520 events organised last year, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

The university also provides a range of sports and fitness facilities, alongside free activities for students. These include:

Harrow Sports Hall and gym – Opened in January 2024, this is the university’s newest and most advanced sports complex. One of the leading sports hall venues in the UK, it hosts basketball, volleyball, and netball, with a seating capacity of 180 and cutting-edge lighting and sound systems. The Den, part of this facility, features a modern strength and conditioning gym with the latest equipment.

Regent Street gym – This gym offers a variety of cardio and weight training equipment, along with clean and comfortable changing rooms, showers, and lockers. Experienced fitness instructors are available for guidance and personal training.

Chiswick sports ground – The 45-acre Quintin Hogg Sports Ground at Chiswick provides football, rugby, cricket, and hockey pitches, as well as netball and tennis courts and a boathouse for rowing.

These facilities give students everything they need to stay active and engaged throughout their time at university.
