NCUK INTERNATIONAL YEAR ONE
The NCUK International Year One (IYOne) allows you to study the first year of a three year undergraduate degree with us in Qatar, and progress directly into the final two years of your degree at partnering universities. The International Year One has three subject routes to choose from, with progression options to 300+ degree courses across 26 top-ranking universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and as well as universities in Qatar.

*Students can also join NCUK International Year One (IYOne) after completing International Foundation Year (IFY) or A-Levels or IB, AP or any equivalent qualification.
For students completing Year 12
*UK bachelor’s degrees after completing the International Year One (IYOne) are two years long.

Accounting & Finance
The International Year One in Accounting & Finance is an equivalent programme to the first year of three year undergraduate degree, designed to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in the field of Business. You will also study our integrated English for Academic Purposes module, which is accepted in place of IELTS and will help you improve your English language skills.
Students who successfully complete the International Year One in Accounting & Finance are guaranteed to gain access to the second year of an international bachelor's degree at a top-ranked university, with hundreds of degree courses to choose from.
Business Management
The International Year One in Business Management is the first year of three year undergraduate equivalent programme that builds students’ knowledge and skills in the Business field. You will also study our integrated English for Academic Purposes module which is accepted in lieu of IELTS and will help you improve your English language skills.
Students who successfully complete the International Year One in Business Management gain guaranteed access to the second year of an international bachelor’s degree at a top-ranked university with hundreds of degree courses to choose from.
Events Management
The International Year One in Events Management is a first-year undergraduate equivalent programme that builds students’ knowledge and skills in the Events Management field. Electrical & Electronic Engineering

You will also study our integrated English for Academic Purposes module, which is accepted in place of IELTS and will help you improve your English language skills.
Students who successfully complete the International Year One in Electrical & Electronic Engineering will gain guaranteed access to the second year of an international bachelor’s degree at a top-ranked university, with many degree courses to choose from.
Successful completion of the International Year One (IYOne) guarantees you a place at an NCUK University.

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
To be accepted onto the International Year One qualification, applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements listed below:
Academic requirements
- 48 points with 2 x D grades from the NCUK International Foundation Year
OR
- 2 x D grades at A level
OR
- Scored 24 points or more on the International Baccalaureate
OR
- A GPA 2.0 first-year pass from a US degree
Nb: For entry onto the International Year One in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, applicants must have passed in both maths and physics in the qualification they use for entry.
English language requirements
Students must be able to show English language ability at IELTS 5.5 level or equivalent prior to entry.
