NCUK Partners with The University of Law

NCUK is excited to announce a new partnership with The University of Law, one of the UK’s longest established specialist providers of legal and business education.

Through this partnership, students who complete the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) at University Foundation College (UFC), the only NCUK Study Centre in Qatar, will have guaranteed progression to The University of Law, subject to meeting entry requirements.

While The University of Law is best known for legal education, this partnership also opens progression pathways into fields such as Computer Science, Criminology, Psychology and Education. Ranked 7th in England for Quality of Teaching in the National Student Survey 2024, the university delivers practice based learning designed to equip students with the skills, confidence and industry awareness needed for future careers.

Students at The University of Law will join a global alumni community of more than 100,000 graduates across 155 countries, working in more than 11,800 organisations worldwide. The university is also recognised for its strong links with the legal profession, providing professional training for 90 of the top 100 law firms in the UK.

The University of Law also offers one of the largest legal careers and employability services in the UK, with a dedicated team of more than 30 specialists. Students receive personalised one to one support with career planning, applications and interview preparation, with guidance continuing after graduation. With 91% of graduates in employment within 15 months, based on 2022/23 Graduate Outcomes data, NCUK students can begin their studies with confidence in a strong career focused future.
