NCUK proudly welcomes the University of Dundee as a new partner in Scotland, UK, joining its growing global network.

Through this partnership, students who complete the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) at University Foundation College (UFC), the only NCUK Study Centre in Qatar, will have guaranteed progression to the University of Dundee, subject to meeting entry requirements.

The University of Dundee is ranked 26th in the UK in The Guardian University Guide 2026, reflecting a significant rise of 26 places from the previous year.

Founded in 1881, the university has three campuses: City, Ninewells, and Kirkcaldy. The City campus is located in the heart of Dundee, the fourth largest city in Scotland.

As a research intensive institution, University of Dundee offers high quality courses in Life Sciences, Law, Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Biological Sciences, Art & Design, Nursing, and Medicine. Ranked first in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, and second for Medicine and Dentistry in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026, Dundee stands out as a strong choice for students looking for competitive and diverse degree options.

Dundee offers a vibrant mix of nightlife, arts, and outdoor activities, with renowned galleries and museums alongside a wide range of options such as water sports, golf, climbing, bowling, and football for students to enjoy.

At the heart of the campus, the Main Library serves as a modern study hub, featuring 3D printers and extensive digital resources. Beyond the classroom, students are supported by an on campus Health Service and a dedicated International Advice Service, offering guidance on immigration and everyday matters. From the social “buddy system” of Peer Connectors to the welcoming Global Room, Dundee ensures every student feels at home and ready to succeed in the UK.
