The University of Dundee is a compact, city centre campus on Scotland’s east coast, where strong teaching meets a supportive and global community. Founded in 1881 as University College Dundee, it later became part of the University of St Andrews before gaining independence in 1967 through a royal charter. This independence has shaped Dundee into the innovative and globally recognised university it is today.
The university offers a wide range of programmes across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Life Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Law, Art & Design, Humanities, Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, Business, and Engineering.
All courses are shaped by high quality research, with students learning directly from academics who are experts in their fields.
Students who successfully complete the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) at University Foundation College (UFC) in Qatar benefit from guaranteed progression to bachelor’s degree programmes at the University of Dundee (subject to meeting the entry requirements) and will gain access to world class education and future career opportunities.
