University of Leicester

Leading international pathway provider, NCUK, is pleased to announce that the University of Leicester is joining the NCUK Global Network, expanding the choices available to pathway students who are eager to embark on their study abroad journey. Located in the heart of the East Midlands, Leicester is a historic institution renowned for its world-class research, commitment to student success, and central location.

This partnership provides NCUK students with direct progression routes into some of Leicester’s most prestigious academic programmes, including Medicine, one of the most attractive options available in the network. Leicester’s renowned Department of Genetics, famously known as the birthplace of genetic fingerprinting, discovered in 1984 by Professor Sir Alec Jeffreys, is a testament to the university’s innovative spirit.

Leading in-country university pathway provider NCUK is pleased to announce that the University of Regina has joined the NCUK Global Network. This will provide more choice to its pathway students looking to start their study abroad adventure.

This partnership gives students who have completed the NCUK International Foundation Year and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programmes access to the University of Regina. Unlike other pathway providers, NCUK was originally formed by a group of universities to provide international students with the opportunity to study overseas. To date, more than 50,000 students have trusted NCUK on their journey to study at university.

University of the West of England – UWE Bristol

Leading international pathway provider, NCUK, is pleased to announce that the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) is joining the NCUK Global Network, providing more choices to its pathway students looking to start their study abroad adventure.

The University of the West of England – UWE Bristol is a modern university located in Bristol in the UK. It has a diverse population with over 36,000 students coming from over 160 countries who are offered more than 600 courses.

UWE Bristol has an excellent reputation for graduate employability and industry partnerships, allowing students to benefit from opportunities to get involved in placements, internships or live projects that equip them with the most in-demand skills.

The university offers academic and personal support to each of its students, ensuring that they feel supported at every step. Students also benefit from the university’s three campuses, with £300 million being invested into modern facilities over the last five years.

University of Westminster

NCUK, is pleased to expand its offering in the UK’s capital, London, by signing a new university partner, the University of Westminster. This will give NCUK students yet more options to join an international university and succeed in their studies and beyond.

As an official NCUK Study Centre and through this partnership, students will be able to gain access to the University of Westminster after successfully completing NCUK qualifications including the International Foundation Year, International Year One (in Accounting & Finance or Business Management), International Year Two and Master’s Preparation. This exclusive opportunity not only opens doors to one of the UK’s leading universities but also ensures a seamless transition for our students as they embark on their academic journey towards excellence.

University of York

As an official NCUK Study Centre and through this partnership, our students will be able to gain access to the University of York after successfully completing our NCUK’s International Foundation Year qualification. We are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievement of our students who have been awarded prestigious Academic Prize Awards in recognition of their high results following completion of their NCUK qualifications here in Qatar.

By winning these awards, students have been honoured as some of the top performing NCUK students in the world. Students who have received Academic Prize Awards include:

  • Randa Ibrahim MOH’D Adel Hamdan – Winner of the Regional High Achiever award, making them the top performing NCUK International Foundation Year student in the Middle East Region.
  • Aisha Mohamed Ziada Taha, Hassan Abdelrahman Hassan Abdelrahman, Syeda Maham Ali Zaidi, Fahad Khalid A. A. Al-Thani – Winners of the Recognised Achiever award, making them some of the top NCUK International Foundation Year students from the Middle East Region.

4,500+ students took NCUK qualifications in the 2022/23 academic year globally, making the accomplishments of students from University Foundation College even greater.
